Dr. Lipson is an internationally recognized expert in Forensic Psychology and the founder of MRC (Making Right Choices) a company that offers courses on both the ethical and boundary violations that lead to misconduct. He has testified as an expert witness and provided training in the areas of bullying, sexual misconduct, and harassment and volunteers with organizations that empower youth voices. He also works with criminal and civil courts, law enforcement agencies, and schools in cases where there were claims of abuse by individuals in working in youth serving professions.

Schools Excess Liability Fund
Lois Gormley is the Director of Member Services for Schools Excess Liability Fund, a risk-sharing pool that provides excess coverage to school districts, charter schools and colleges. She is responsible for all training, communications, and underwriting for SELF and works closely with member JPAs to provide prevention and mitigation resources. Prior to joining SELF, Lois worked as a journalist covering crime, courts and public safety, and worked in the insurance industry in claims operations and underwriting. She holds a BA in journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Thuy Wong is the President and CEO of CharterSAFE, a pooled self-insurance and risk management program serving California charter schools. As a California charter school and Gates Millennium Scholar alumna, Thuy understands the power of quality education in empowering students and is proud to lead a nonprofit that serves as a partner to school leaders. Thuy holds a BA from Pomona College, MPH from the University of Southern California, an Associate in Risk Management – Public Entities (ARM-P) designation, and an executive certificate in nonprofit leadership from Harvard Kennedy School.
