Teacher Summit
The Teacher Summit is a one-day experience designed exclusively for educators at the
California Charter Schools Conference on Wednesday, March 10, 2027. This dynamic
summit centers teachers at the heart of California's charter public schools — providing
high-impact professional development, meaningful networking opportunities, and
inspiration to carry back to the classroom. Whether you’re a first-year teacher or a
seasoned educator, the Teacher Summit offers tools to strengthen instruction, strategies
to improve student outcomes, and the chance to connect with fellow educators from
across the state.
Summit Goals:
- Strengthen professional practice and student success
- Foster connection and collaboration among educators
- Deepen engagement within the charter movement
To sign up for the Teacher Summit, we encourage you to register for the full 2027 CCSA Conference
and check the box during the registration process to indicate you will be attending
the Teacher Summit. Alternatively, you can purchase a Wednesday 1-day registration (Available
October 1) to attend the Teacher Summit (make sure to check the “Teacher Summit” box during
registration).
The Teacher Summit includes:
- Networking: A continental networking breakfast is included in the
registration price for Teacher Summit participants in the Ballroom B PreFunction area.
- Professional Development: Access the full suite of conference programming, including breakout sessions and solutions sessions, with instructional content tailored to meet teachers’ needs.
- Celebration & Inspiration: Come to the exhibit hall to pick up your lunch
and enjoy the Hart Vision awards ceremony to honor the Teacher-of-theYear and Volunteer of the Year, 4 Regional Teachers-of-the-Year as well as
an inspiring keynote address.
- Discovery: Find the exciting, cutting-edge product or service you were
searching for that is uniquely tailored to meet teachers’ needs.
- Capitol Rally: Join charter school educators, leaders, families, students,
and advocates from across California for the CCSA Capitol Rally on the
West Lawn of the California State Capitol. Together, we'll celebrate the
impact of California's charter schools while raising our collective voice in
support of educational opportunity and student success. Through
inspiring speakers, student stories, and a powerful show of unity,
attendees will demonstrate the strength of the charter school movement
and advocate for policies that ensure all students have access to highquality public education.
