Where will the conference take place?

The Annual California Charter School Conference will be held at the Long Beach Convention Center located at 300 East Ocean Boulevard, Long Beach, CA 90802, March 14-17, 2022.

What is the purpose of the conference?

The California Charter Schools Conference is a place of joy and inspiration that will build connectivity in the California charter movement. This annual event connects charter school experts from across the country who lead sessions on everything from balancing your budget, obtaining a new facility, and creating a safe school environment to building a productive and excellent board and advocating for your school on the local, state and federal level.

Who should attend?

The conference is for charter school educators, leaders, teachers, board members, administrators, business managers, university educators, political leaders, business partners and community stakeholders.

This is not a great time of year for me to be incurring expenses. When do I actually have to pay my conference registration bill?

In order to postpone payment, please register using a purchase order number. Once your registration has been processed, you will receive an invoice for your total registration fees; however, the bill will not be due until after the conference in March 2022.

What happens if I register and then cannot attend Conference?

We have flexible options for you:

Roll forward: Registered conference attendees can roll their unused 2022 registration forward to the 2023 conference in Sacramento, CA. Email to request a roll forward prior to 5pm PST, March 17, 2022.

Transfer: Registered conference attendees can transfer their unused registration without penalty to another attendee. Email to request a transfer prior to 5pm PST, March 17, 2022.

Refunds: Conference registration cancellations must be received in writing to or faxed to (541) 346-3545. Cancellations must be received by the deadlines below to receive the following refunds:

If received on or before December 31, 2021—70% refund
If received on or before February 11, 2022—20% refund
No refunds will be provided after February 11, 2022
