Did you complete your school’s annual update and feel frustrated? Perhaps you wanted to pull out your hair? Let us provide you tips and best practices about budget coding on the front end so you are less frustrated at the end of the year. If you set things up correctly, you will also be able to provide useful updates to your stakeholders throughout the year.

Kelly Ellis Kelly Ellis, EdTec Inc.

Kelly Ellis has worked at EdTec for over two years directly serving charter schools as an outsourced Chief Financial Officer. She assists school leaders in preparing budgets, facility planning, audits and other finance-related activities. Kelly previously worked with school districts to help them distribute resources more equitably. She began her career in education as a 4th & 5th grade teacher for five years. Kelly holds a Master of Public Administration, Finance from NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service and a BA in Business Administration from the University of San Diego. She also holds a multiple subject teaching credential.
