This is not a great time of year for me to be incurring expenses. When do I actually have to pay this bill?
If you register online or by phone using a purchase order number, we will send you an invoice, but the bill will not be due until after the conference actually happens. That way you can decide when it is most convenient for you to pay. If you register before October 23 you will lock in at the low super early bird rate.

What are the remaining registration deadlines this year?
The New Year Discount Rate Deadline is Friday, Jan. 15, 2010
The President's Day Discount Registration Deadline is Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010
When is the deadline to respond to the Call for Presentations and when will speakers be notified?
Friday, Oct. 2, 2009 was the deadline. Speakers were notified in early December. Please see Speaker Info for more information.
Are there any special registration discounts?
Yes, there are special rates for: association members; groups of three or more from the same school; groups of 10 or more from the same school; as well as an additional discount if you qualify for the special discount (see Registration for more information).
When should I arrive at the conference?
The Welcome Reception starts at 5 pm on Monday, March 1, 2010.
When does the conference end?
The conference ends at around noon on Thursday, March 4, 2010.
I am also receiving correspondence from the National Conference. Is this the same conference?
No. This is the web site for the California Charter Schools Conference, which will be held March 1-4, 2010 at the Sacramento Convention Center. The National Charter Schools Conference will be held in June 2010 in Chicago, Illinois.
I want to register as a group, but the system only lets me register one person at a time. How do I make sure I get the group rate?
During the registration process you will be asked to create a group name. Touch base with the others from your group and make sure you all register under the same group name. Our registration team will review all group registrations to make sure people are getting the proper discount for registering in a group.
If I am registering administrators and teachers, can I combine them for the group rates?
Yes. However, the special discount will be applied only to the individuals who qualify.
What if I have an administrator who also teaches some classes? Can I register this person as a teacher?
In this case, we suggest this attendee be categorized by whichever function is a larger part of their job.
I am planning to register a large number of people for the conference and I don't want to have to go through the process over and over again. Is there an easier option for me?
Yes. In this case it may make sense for you to just call our registration team at 541.346.3537 or 800.280.6218. Please try to call before Oct. 23 as we get a lot of registrations on deadline day.
