- Yes, there are special rates for: charter schools teachers; groups of three or more from the same school; groups of 3-10 charter school teachers; groups of 11 or more charter school teachers; state or federal department of education staff and full-time school of education students.
- When should I arrive at the conference?
- The welcome reception starts at 5 pm on Tuesday, March 4, 2008.
- When does the conference end?
- The conference ends at around noon on Friday, March 7, 2008.

This is the web site for the The California Charter Schools Conference, which will be held March 4-7, 2008 at the Sacramento Convention Center. The National Charter Schools Conference will be held in June 2008 in New Orleans.
- I want to register as a group, but the system only lets me register one person at a time. How do I make sure I get the group rate?
- During the registration process you will be asked to create a group name. Touch base with the others from your group and make sure you all register under the same group name. Our registration team will review all group registrations to make sure people are getting the proper discount for registering in a group.
- If I am registering administrators and teachers, can I combine them for the group rates?
- No. The rate for teachers is a special discount for teachers only. Although we do have other special discounts for full-time school of education college students and state/federal Department of Education staff.
- What if I have an administrator who also teaches some classes? Can I register this person as a teacher?
- In this case, we suggest this attendee be categorized by whichever function is a larger part of their job.
- I am planning to register a large number of people for the conference and I don't want to have to go through the process over and over again. Is there an easier option for me?
- Yes. In this case it may make sense for you to just call our registration team at 541.346.3537 or 800.280.6218. Please try to call before Nov. 2 as we get a lot of registrations on deadline day. You may also E-mail the registration team at charterconf@continue.uoregon.edu. Make sure to note that your are registering for the California conference.
- This is not a great time of year for me to be incurring expenses. When do I actually have to pay this bill?
- If you register online or by phone using a purchase order number, we will send you an invoice, but the bill will not be due until after the conference actually happens. That way you can decide when it is most convenient for you to pay. If you register before Nov. 2 you will lock in at the low early bird rate.
- How do I book at room at the conference hotel?

- Are there any other benefits if I register before Nov. 2?
- Yes. You will be entered to win a free registration/hotel package! There will be three winners named.
